The mei tai is just beautiful :-D I do like to have people notice me, so the bright colors just made my heart sing as soon as I saw them! You seem to have a knack for being able to judge what I'd like!

And I absolutely love it! Thank you so much Jen. I haven't tried it with the baby but I have plenty of room with both the waist and arm straps. My husband also likes that it's reversible so he can wear it with the burgundy side out.
I just wore the baby in it for an hour at Sam's and it was really comfortable, and not nearly as hot and sweaty as my padded ring sling. :-) I'll have my DH take a picture while we're on vacation and send it to you when I get back!

Just wanted to let you know I received the baby carrier and the shopping cart cover yesterday. They are both so beautiful -- I couldn't be more pleased! In fact, the carrier may be, besides my wedding dress, the loveliest thing I own now! I am so impressed with the way it's made, and the detail of the pretty stitching at the seam did not go unappreciated!
I tried all the different carries today and they all worked well.
Thanks again for adding the bungee cord at the bottom, too, as I think she is going to like being carried that way, especially when we're out at the mall or someplace where there is lots to see.

I ordered my Mei Tai from Jenn because we are in a play group together. I actually gave her a section of fabric that I had gotten in India. Jenn took the fabric, making sure to preserve as much as possible (since it's very precious to me) and constructed a WONDERFUL Mei Tai for me - that I love. I have been able to, in the 8 months since I got it, peel 6 pounds of patato's, run after my 2 1/2 year old, join a walking club, and so much more all why the baby is snug as a bug on my back or chest!

I just received my Lovey a couple days ago, and my baby loves it. She was in it for 2 hours in the back carry and never made a peep. I got the lightly padded straps and a fun patchwork design, I love it. I think I want to order a brocade one next. It is easy to use and no one that I have ever seen in my town uses anything other than a stroller. I went to Walmart yesterday and people just stared. Plus I have a 3 and 2 year old and I know they all want to ask about it but nobody does. Just keep on pushing them strollers, anyways I need to ask Jenn for some cards to give to people when they finally do ask me about my Lovey so others can be brave and try it. I think it is the best carrier I own(I am a ring sling girl at heart but this Lovey rocks.
